1 sheet frozen puff pastry
1 8-ounce wheel Camembert cheese
3 tablespoons Les Confitures a l’Ancienne Apple Pear Walnut Jam
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon water
1. Preheat oven to 425. Let sheet of puff pastry stand at room temperature until it thaws slightly, 20 to 30 minutes. Unfold and roll to an 11-inch square, then cut out an 11-inch circle.
2. Place Camembert in center of pastry, then pull up and pleat the pastry at the top center, trimming away excess. Mix egg yolk with water and use pastry brush to coat the puff pastry. Then spoon jam in the center.
3. Place on heavy baking sheet and bake until golden, 25 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes on rack then refrigerate until pasty feels slightly cool but not cold to the touch. Serve with your favorite crackers.
